There are only five months to come into force the new version of the related test standard for 2.4 GHz frequency band enabled devices (named EN 300 328 v 1.8.1.) which aim to improve the quality, security of data transmission and coexistence of devices working in the 2.4 GHz band, where Wi-FiTM, Bluetooth®, ANT+ and ZigBee devices operate.
As of January 1, 2015, the devices gathered at the new version of the test standard must comply with the new testing requirements that are mandatory for access to the European market. The new version of the test standard has changed significantly the conformity assessment process for wideband data transmission devices, modifying the testing methodology and also adding new test cases.
AT4 wireless has completed successfully the process to update the test facilities required for all these new testing requirements and therefore to provide to all their customer access to the latest testing standards and then offering the largest 2G, 3G, LTE, Wi-FiTM, Bluetooth®, Wireless Charging, NFC, and Continua Health Alliance testing capacity and fast execution times.
