DEKRA opens EMC and Wireless test lab supporting Lenovo

Strategic partnership to support global product innovation

| 30th June, 2016 | The international expert organization DEKRA has established an EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) testing laboratory on Lenovo's campus in Beijing, China. The independent test lab will support product innovations of the world’s No. 1 PC producer in the global marketplace.

By leveraging the cutting-edge facilities and technologies of DEKRA, Lenovo will benefit from immediate technical support during the product R&D stage, including technologies related to the Internet of Things (IoT) and Connectivity.

This innovative partnership will allow Lenovo to reduce costs in particular for network server products, as well as market access time significantly. Also by leveraging DEKRA's specialty in certification and standard areas, it could help Lenovo better understand the regulatory requirement and help us on the product development.
