DEKRA obtained the NTT DOCOMO’s certification as an Approved Testing Laboratory for Antenna (OTA) Testing and LTE Protocol Testing  

DEKRA, leading Wireless and Mobile Testing and Certification Laboratory, obtained the certification as DOCOMO Approved Testing Laboratory for LTE Protocol Testing. On top of that, DEKRA Japan had already been accredited from DOCOMO for Over The Air (OTA) Antenna Performance Testing and is completed with other DEKRA’ related conformance and network acceptance services.

This new accreditations increase the Laboratory’s testing scope for any mobile device (handsets and modems among others) and for LTE (4G) devices, chipsets and modules within selectable range of products.


DEKRA expands scope of Wi-Fi Alliance Authorized Test Lab services

Wi-Fi Alliance qualification expands certification testing portfolio for Wi-Fi technology

DEKRA is proud to announce that it has been authorized by Wi-Fi Alliance to perform certification testing for Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Passpoint  and Wi-Fi CERTIFIED ac programs.

Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Passpoint  transforms the way users connect to Wi-Fi hotspot networks by making the process of finding and getting access to the right network seamless. Mobile devices, such as handsets and tablets that are certified for Passpoint, can still be used in existing hotspots.

DEKRA launches the English version of its web site about CE marking

DEKRA has just issued the English version of its web site about CE Marking (, intended to inform and assess manufacturers and importers of electrical, electronic and telecommunications equipment about the requirements needed to access to the European market with quality, security and reliability guarantees.

It is a very helpful tool for the industry which describes what CE Marking is, specifies responsibilities, as well as different requirements in the lifecycle of each product.


DEKRA offers RoHS testing services

DEKRA expands its offer to manufacturers and importers of electric and electronics equipment, testing according to 2011/65/CE European directive, which repeals the earlier (2002/95/CE) and stands for the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in this type of equipment.

Since the beginning of 2013 all electrical and electronic equipment must satisfy the requirements of the RoHS Directive to mark CE and gain access to the European market. In addition the new directive extends the scope to new sectors from July 2014.

DEKRA appoints Texas agency partnership

DEKRA, a world leading telecom laboratory in testing and certification services, has appointed E-QUALUS Partners, LLC, a consulting business specialized in telecom testing and certification, as its Texas agency.

These companies have entered into agreement to provide added value services to the growing and competitive Texas telecommunications industry.
